This singular glass house is located in the middle of a site surrounded by trees of the region. This vegetation will become the protagonist of the architectural scene by reflecting their branches and leaves in the glass façade. This facade consists of double glass panels of 5.20 x 1.25 m placed in vertical format.
The three story building is made up of two volumes with a footprint of 180m2, the visible structure is made of steel beams and ten columns that show the structural support and become an integral part of the rational and modernist language of the design proposal.
In the basement are located the facilities and a guest bedroom, in the main level are located the social areas and the bedrooms in the first floor which seem to be floating above the wooden platform. This platform functions as a link between the interior space and the exterior. The roof will be used as a roof garden trying to substitute the foot print of the garden. The simplicity and the reduction of the program to the minimum made this house an exciting design challenge.
