The existing weatherboard house required a planning rethink to ensure the spaces became efficient and useful.
Maintaining the built-form footprint, the existing house needed to be reconfigured to provide the owners with the appropriate amenity, including a new ensuite and master bedroom, main bathroom, new kitchen with walk-in pantry and laundry.
Our approach to the materiality was to provide a pared back aesthetic, specifying neutral timbers, ensuring the marble stone was highlighted.
