Concept

Kedma hotel was designed under the nabatian tribe influences.

The hotel is situated in the Israeli desert,  placed on the spice trail which was one of the important merchant routes in ancient times.

The nabatean people were merchant nomads who specialized in finding water in the desert.

In our quest to develop a design narrative for the hotel we have brought the old world and sprinkled it with influences of the modern world,

The colour scheme and materials are all influenced by the desert, sand stone and gypsum wall finish with rounded corners, wooden furniture and handmade textiles. Senade poles are recessed into the ceiling and also used as a method to hang clothes, lighting details and more.

The outcome of the design creates a feeling of desert locality with a hint of luxury,

Our oasis of hospitality.
