The primary objective was to combine the whole divided walls into one curve and define the private and common zones. The result was the vision of the common space expanding maximum between 2 boundary walls, from the kitchen to the bedhead.
The common space flows outside of the curve, in order from the kitchen, dining table, and sofa to the bedroom inside. Opposite the sofa is the TV corner and gaming room. The client asked us to give a solution for watching TV both on the bed and sofa. The cone shape with support arm adapts this habit, the TV can rotate from the bed to the sofa fluently and also allows lighting to enter through the TV shelf. The transparent striped glass doors keep the space continuous and bright whenever closing the bedroom or gaming room.
The common area also features two cats, as special members. Two cats can be found hiding away: one behind the entrance shelves and the other inside the TV cone's base. The texture of the bed, dining chair, and sofa is regarded as fabric because of them.
The remainder of the space is featured on another side of the curve, the private zone. In the bathroom, we chose the vertical stripe tile ceramics to apply on the curve. The curvy wooden basin station takes the center and warms the space.
