A towering 5.5-meter ceiling sets the stage for a deconstructed Japanese Pine installation, evoking the serene essence of a traditional Japanese courtyard. This natural element contrasts beautifully with the sleek, functional elegance of the kitchen section upfront, which showcases Lixil Sunwave’s cutting-edge technology and strong Japanese heritage. The design ingeniously bridges the gap between the recommended 2.3-meter kitchen cabinet height and the soaring ceiling through the use of striking pillars, creating a dynamic architectural rhythm that ties the space together.
On the Vina side, bathed in natural light from the tall windows, an array of wine storage solutions is displayed, ranging from standard units to customised wine rooms. Positioned near the window, the customised wine room becomes a focal point, designed to captivate passersby with its meticulous craftsmanship and ability to accommodate various bottle sizes. Tactile contrasts are introduced through the use of customised carpets, replacing the natural limestone found elsewhere, offering a sensory shift and enhancing acoustic comfort.
At the heart of the space, a small living conference area serves as the middle point between Vina and Sunwave, symbolizing the seamless collaboration between the two brands.
