Intended for rental, the Langeac project had to be functional and pragmatic. Particular attention was paid to the thermal comfort of the accommodation. With its art deco façade, the installation of external insulation was ruled out. As a result, the insulation was installed within the accommodation. 10cm of wood fiber – a bio-sourced material – was installed on all the peripheral walls.

The project is composed of interior joinery with sustainable and raw materials, such as stainless steel and plywood. Finally, through this joinery work and more precisely through a system of accordion doors, the accommodation can adapt to different programs and different uses.

Finally, it can be modulated according to the tenants and their needs.
