The development of the new space for L’Art Shop, a clothing brand inspired by collectible cars, was a challenge due to the small size to house the entire program, which required a place to be, display of clothing items, a fitting room and stock.

Despite the terrain having a narrow triangular shape and with only one front opening, our office explored a fluid environment with a generous direct foot and zenithal lighting that allows, in addition to a feeling of lightness, greater amplitude to the space.

As the terrain narrows, a residual space is configured where we designed the store's dressing room, delimited by a linen curtain, highlighted by the backlit mirror and the winter garden with the zenith opening.

Strategically, the main volume of the joinery that concentrates the stock was designed suspended in the environment, bringing a light composition together with the other support elements for displaying the pieces, such as shelves and exhibitors.

A bench in solid wood, also suspended, was designed to support a scenario with a larger number of customers, in addition to serving as a display for smaller pieces and brand accessories.

L’ART Shop was inspired by the icons and history of the automotive world to create timeless parts and accessories, as every classic should be, and the store space could not be different.
