The object of this work is to create a new multi-family residential building through the demolition of the two previous apartment blocks.
The project researches the definition of a new architectural design, keeping in mind the characteristics of the landscape. Infact, through this process the site subject to intervention is redeveloped and enhanced with respect to various issues.
The concept is born from the accurate study of the neighboring environment. Specifically, the architectural language translates the panoramic landscape of the site, its urban green and permeability by entering details, such as large green tubs, made of trees and smaller bushes, and frequent glass windows.
The style is simple and by using steel slats it recalls the verticality of the mountain landscape.
The complex is geometrically made of two blocks, identical in form and dimension, divided in the center by an homogeneous element that works as a vertical connection among the floors.
The facades are characterized by terraces of different depths and marked by the same slats, which give harmony and proportion to the construction.
Although the project’s style is modern and studied in detail, the neutral color chosen bonds the building to the pre-existing ones.
