LO STONNATO

Fabio Fantolino as Architects

As with all large cities, in this project, it was decided the redevelopment of an old establishment located in a place one of the most trendy and populated by young people of the city. The architecture of "The Stonnato" reinterprets the flavor of the old shops 50s with a reference to the current atmosphere. The restaurant has three rooms with different flavors: the first two refer to the typical atmospheres the premises of the Meatpacking District, the district of New York who has been able to transform old butchers 50s in renewed trendy, thanks to the use of a coating in small tiles and the coffered ceiling finely decorated; the third room, playing on more subdued atmosphere, is characterized by a long table embraced by two tall bookcases, flavor lived, on whose the shelves find space wraps food wrappers reminiscent of the 50s. This union between the various architectural elements creates a convivial local but refined and intimate at the same time.
