The drama of the low wood cube created as an entrance suddenly becomes freedom in the living room to which it provides access; the indivisible design of the main façade results in internal transparency and fluidity. These characteristics are purposely opposing, created by Celso Laetano for the architecture of this house conceived with a beach atmosphere, but designed inland. The generation of feelings and surprises guided the architectural project constructed with plenty of wood, glass and Moledo stone, and marked by ample spaces, integrated to the garden. “The structure of the social area was conceived in Sucupira, with covered metal pillars and beams, creating lightness,” explains Laetano.
Using two corner lots, the 2.100 m2 property was partially filled to elevate the house and maintain its privacy. The distribution of the environments on the 860 m2 floor plan was done in sectors. More reserved, the four suites with terraces were placed on the upper floor, facing the back of the lot; whereas
the living and leisure areas, with terrace and gourmet space, were installed on the ground floor. “The sauna and fitness center are in a separate construction, with a wood structure, facing the long pool, clad with green tile and infinite edges,” adds the architect.
