Madison Square Garden Company’s new offices, located at San Francisco’s Pier One, illustrates WDA’s expertise delivering economically viable and design-driven tenant improvement projects. The clients’ goal was to design a ‘makers’ modern workplace environment that supported creativity and collaboration. Opening up the majority of the walls in this old port building re-establishes spatial connections and increases the overall spread of natural light to the whole of the workplace. The digital designers who required a darker workspace were accommodated with retractable, light-blocking screens on the second floor.
