The project is a floating home, private residence located in a marina on Vancouver Island, Canada.
As with the first floating home completed by Robert Lange, this second home focused on materialty. Central to the design was use of a relatively new engineered wood product called Brisco. The use of Brisco panels for the floors and roof structure allowed for a for exposed wood structure with long open spans.
The home construction was filmed by Windfall Films based in the UK. It will air on a future episode of 'My Floating Home'.
