The project was designed as a support apartment for the owner's family whenever they were in São Paulo, as well as a strategic setting for business meetings with other entrepreneurs. Originally from Santa Catarina, the family consists of a couple, with him being 65 years old and her 55, along with two teenage children aged 13 and 16.
The intention was for the apartment to reflect the atmosphere of the Matarazzo development without directly reproducing its identity. He is a successful businessman, globally connected, actively seeking interior architecture with substance and an international personality while maintaining Brazilian roots. A lover of art and design, the composition of elements needed to be expressive yet aesthetically harmonious, where nothing would overpower the space, but every detail would reveal itself as a surprise and demonstrate the care dedicated to the project.
She, as a mother and the person responsible for the harmony and success of the family home, has organicity as a core value combined with absolute contemporaneity as an atmosphere. The result therefore needed to be bold yet natural, sophisticated yet comfortable, and while contemporary, still carry a traditional aura of someone who has always moved within a cultured and discreet social environment, and who today communicates a global lifestyle.

No. The client wanted a quick occupation of the property, so we maintained the original infrastructure in order to optimize the timeline. From design to completion, the process took 90 days.
A large part of the inspiration came from the clients themselves, especially regarding the project's functionality and dynamics. The Matarazzo Complex also contributed to the style, particularly in terms of a globally influenced Brazilian identity, where Brazil is present, but also the fusion of cultural heritages that shape the country and define the client’s lifestyle.
Yes, the central concrete pillar. The project unfolded almost entirely around it. Since it was a fixed and non-adjustable element, the reddish natural stone panel, which supports both the TV area and the bar in the living room, became the project's starting point. While dividing the living areas, it simultaneously maintains an immersive integration between them, acting not simply as a divider, but as a strategic piece that stores, organizes, and distributes the space.
Yes, the natural wood flooring was preserved and also served as the basis for the other millwork elements and the material composition used throughout the project.
The central natural stone block itself was a challenge. There was a load limitation on the slab, and the stone naturally exceeded the weight capacity. Therefore, we used a stone slicing technique, reducing its original thickness from 22 mm to 6 mm and applying it to a cellulose compound to increase its strength and durability. This solution reduced the original weight and met the load limitations established by the developer.
The intention behind the material selection was for them to be bold — almost as if they shouted — while creating harmony within the overall composition. Design as a latent vein, art as a sharp and provocative seasoning, textures that contrast and compete, but above all respect each other within their existence. A maximalist tone that, at the same time, does not need to prove anything to anyone; this was the guiding spirit behind the project’s materiality.
Highlights include the natural Goiabão wood millwork with a high-gloss finish, the reddish natural stone block, expressive artworks, and special noble fabrics that emphasize Brazilian and international design. The project as a whole carries this singularity. All international items were specially commissioned for the project and air-shipped to speed up the import process. Please refer to the release list. Each furniture piece, decorative element, and artwork is highly special and renowned, so nothing stands above the rest. However, in terms of relevance, we can highlight: Burle Max painting, Baxter Tactille sofa, Baxter Nepal armchair, Coral chair, Daav chairs, Jader Almeida armchairs upholstered with Dedar fabrics (BF Tecidos), and handcrafted abstract tapestry made of natural wool and silk.
