This penthouse is located next to the waterfront in Old Montreal. Our client approached us to completely redo the two stories of his condo. The first level offers a magnificent view of downtown Montreal and the Old Port. On the second level, all the choices were made to create the most exquisite bachelor’s paradise. 

OPENING UP ACCESS 

The existing two bedrooms and two bathrooms were stripped down and replaced by a fully open space which is now suited with an integrated mini-bar, a DJ and music recording station, a walk-in closet and an immense bathroom facing the master bedroom.

A STREAMLINED DESIGN

The client’s office/sound studio faces the double length windows and overlooks the living room on the first floor. The whole project is extremely refined, even deliberately cold. The presence of wood, the warm lighting of the halogens plus some specifically designed accessories act as a counterbalance to the ensemble.

This project won La Firme two awards – the Fantini Design Award 2018 plus a Design Excellence Award 2018 from the APDC IDA – and is featured in the January edition of the Azure Magazine.
