Corporate interior of the first Hamburg store for ChiChiFan in a prime city centre location. Concept, design and detailed planning up to implementation supervision together with Eva Lorey.

Small but very fine, the mini flagship is located near the Alster in a very beautiful ensemble of buildings with charming details in the entrance area as well as throughout the entire retail space. All elements of the existing building that are worth seeing were painted or varnished in dark anthracite throughout and thus discreetly set the scene. They form a discreetly stylish contrast to the friendly light grey of the concrete surfaces. The completely gutted shop area was coated with BetonCiré throughout and without joints: Wall, floor, ceiling and fixtures. The 3 and 4 metre long shelves with integrated LED modules were coated and installed in one piece at the factory. The white flying ceiling sail with integrated downlights reinforces the impression that the entire room has been milled out of a concrete block.

The formally clear furniture made of veneered oak forms a warm contrast and has lovely details. Ingenious divisions of storage and functional spaces in the counters and in the showcase furniture form the central part of the very efficient room utilisation concept. All the oak furniture was designed with mitres all around - including on all doors and drawers. Since the storage capacity of the total area is limited, it was necessary to hide part of it on the sales floor in the monolithic furniture. Accessible for the staff - not accessible for the customers. The drawers were given the typical "ChiChiFan pocket lock" as a handle. The inconspicuous checkout counter has discreet brass inlays that allow the checkout tablet to be positioned upright and serve as pass-throughs for power and network cables. Flyers and business cards are also available in the brass U-profile for the inclined access playfully and without tools...
