The main goal of the initiative is through the construction of a miniature park for the citizens and guests of city of Burgas to experience the diverse richness of cultural, historical and natural landmarks not only from the region but also from the "old continent" - Europe. Miniatures of iconic historical, architectural and natural sites, symbols of the history and culture of the different countries of the continent of Europe can be found in the park of miniatures.
The status of the existing infrastructure has been investigated, so that a rational and original solution can be proposed. The project solution provides a direct associative link with the thematic focus, offering a situational solution based on a stylized map of Europe.
According to the presented project in the park an opportunity will be provided to place 31 objects - 24 miniatures and 7 sculptural objects of selected cultural and historical landmarks from the countries of continent Europe, which will be positioned as elements in the park environment, in accordance with the established alley network, thematic zoning and exposure plan. The situation of the objects and the sculptural design will be subject to the condition that they recreate as closely as possible the original environment of the objects.
In the immediate vicinity of the entrance is the main building constituted of an information center, a waiting area in front of it, lavatories for visitors and employees, a warehouse, a staff room, an indoor cafe with 24 seats.
An area adjacent to the entrance welcomes visitors. From here, the developed walkway along the outline of continental Europe begins and also ends. The Danube alley is centrally located. Landscaping along the borders between countries is envisaged. Recreation areas have been designed in two locations within the project - near the reception area and at the opposite end of the plot to the east, with a dry water feature and 3 Smart solar benches being provided for both. There is a Sculptural Area near the entrance.
The construction of a recreational site of this kind will increase the attractiveness of the city and will help increase tourist flow. The project, in addition to its focus on tourism, also has an educational purpose, as exposure of miniatures to various types of sites of world history, culture and nature will contribute to raising the level of education.
