GIACOMO MANFREDI as Architects

Our proposal for Minimaousse, is a small architecture thought more as an open conceptual scheme with a certain internal flexibility and spatial poetic, rather than just as "a design object" which would impose its aesthetic presence and could fix a forced way of usage. The project proposes a volume set on a concentric square geometry and split in two levels conceived as if one is the inverse of the other, functionally and spatially.

At ground floor, a "material-functional” level, where flexible satellite spaces serving a central core area, allow for multiple activities and different way of living the space.

At the floor above, an “immaterial-poetic” level organized as a spiral path that leads to an "abstract space just for the mind", only for the act of meditation and contemplation.

Dimensions and materials are free to be modified without having impact on the project general rules which, being based on a principle of modifiability and adaptability, confer to this proposal of micro architecture the freedom of giving the maximum of possibility in a compact space: Mini and Maousse.
