The clients owned a small, beach ranch home that needed a breath of fresh air.  We stripped it to the bones and reconfigured and rebuilt the house with a small expansion.

 The goal was to create an indoor-outdoor living space that marries the exterior seating and dining with the space inside.

This is evidenced in the large glass panels and the flip up window at the kitchen, making the island counter truly outdoors. The flooring material continues from inside to the patio.
