A competition entry for concept design of the New Musuem of Architecture & Design in Helsinki, Finland. The design refers to core elements in architecture, such as transparency, materiality and craftmenship. It is a glass edifice, accessible and open public space, a new destination and a landmark. The main interior space is dominated by 'floating' galleries finished in Spectrolite stone and columns cladded in polished stainless steel.
