Make guests feel at home: the project of this restaurant on the Adriatic Sea coast close to Venice has been conceived around this idea with the aim to create a place rich in atmosphere where the domestic feeling is declined throughout the space, the furniture and the overall aesthetic language.
The layout involves a big dining hall and two dehors, visually separated by large bookshelves that give a domestic touch and serve as light filter and display for evocative elements such as book, plants, sculptures…
The architectural shell mixes several different materials and colors that melt together in a well balanced final result: striped ceiling, patchwork flooring (mixing wooden areas with porfido and cement tiles) and walls cladded with concrete panels custom made with a texture that reminds of sea waves.
Furniture are made in three different types of wood: dark wood, light wood and exotic padouk from Africa. Lighting is particularly evocative: the warm, welcoming atmosphere is created by the use of both hidden spitloghts places in between the beams and decorative suspensions lamps.
