A central-plan bright apartment in a historic condominium of Milan, with high ceilings and large arched windows on all sides. The boiserie of the windows define the classic style to which we add a modern touch. The ceiling are maintained and enhanced, the windows restored in style. The requests of young customers attentive to the functional aspects and aesthetics of the house, were to expand the kitchen by joining it to the living roomand create a second bathroom for the children. Functional spaces for a growing family. Neutral and soft colors and a touch of aqua blue in the bathroom and bedroom.
The living room:
Light and warm colors, sand and rope shades for the walls of the living area. The creamkitchen is by Veneta Cucine. We project the taylor made bookcase of the living room in Newclassic style. Large comfortable and functional sofa but above all in palette!
“Cosmo” suspension by Miloox | Diotti sofa | Kavehome table and chairs | carpet, coffee table vases in Newclassic style and sofa cushions by VerdeOlivia | “Guastavino” set (hand-woven centerpiece, vase and bowl) by Marta Benet | Cups with saucer and pink brick set from the “Milano” line for Monomio by Marta Benet.
2 Bathrooms:
From the redistribution of the spaces we have defined the spaces for the creation of two bathrooms, one larger and one smaller that will become the bathroom for the children. For the little one we have choosena contrasting colored covering with a more sparkling character. We played with Appiani, white and tiffany green “Regolo” tile with contrasting grooves. The sink cabinet is by Tikamoon.
The main bathroom has a more vintage style thanks to the renovation of a small cupboard to support the washbasin. For the wall tiles we have chosen “Confetti” the new collection of tile designed by the Marcante-Testa studio for the Ceramica Vogue brand.
Studio, guestroom:
A room completely dedicated to relax and smartworking, with a delightful desk well litby double facing windows, and a sofa that transforms this room into a guest room.
BedRooms:
The touch of light blue in the bedroom contrasting with the warm gray walls creates a very restful environment. The historic parquet is maintained and recovered in all the bedrooms. A little reading corner with the beautiful MDF rocking chair “Siena” designed by the designer Simone Bonanni.
