New Mexico State University

New Mexico State University, in Las Cruces, New Mexico and Stout Hardwood Floor Co. Inc. partnered with Old Wood to install our tribally harvested mesquite end grain flooring throughout the university. Done using out 4“x4“ blocks with a natural finish and a site-cured UV topcoat, this floor was chosen specifically for the extraordinary durability of mesquite end grain. The university needed a floor that would stand up to heavey wear and tear by thousands of students. Because of it’s extreme durability when cut on the end grain, mesquite was the perfect choice for this high traffic university.
