The Inver Hills Community College Art Project is composed of nine related art installations, which interlock public areas of the college, strengthening and animating the building’s architectural design.

Seven artworks are integrated into hallway windows of the new College Center addition. Four of the artworks, each measuring 8 x 18 ft., represent the seasons. Suspended colored and textured panels of dichroic glass interplay with colored glass from the building’s windows. Small bronze and glass images add a narrative element to the installations, interpreting the college’s history and curriculum. Music notes at eye level represent Vivaldi’s Seasons.

A suspended artwork in the College Center’s atrium consists of 12 eight-foot tall panels of laminated dichroic glass.

Another artwork, displaying the names of college benefactors, is also located in the atrium.
