TimePiece

Objeto do Tempo is an immersive installation that invites visitors to reflect on the passage of time. Conceived through an open and participatory process, the project compiled voices from across Brazil via online surveys and interviews, weaving together diverse perspectives on how time is felt and understood.

Subtle ambient sounds, distributed throughout the space, guide the visitor’s journey, acting as an auditory compass. Each sonic cue marks the transition between testimonials, shaping a rhythm that transforms personal narratives into a collective experience. Time here is not fixed — it is expansive, fragmented, and intimate.

Architecturally, the installation functions as a spatial and sensory device. Sound, image, material, and void converge as narrative elements. Through careful attention to physical structure, acoustic design, and visual language, Objeto do Tempo constructs a meditative field — a space where time stretches, folds, and reinvents itself in a multiplicity of voices.
