As a leading “Holistic Solution Provider” in China’s lighting industry, OPPLE is known as “The artist of illumination”. Their office reflects this belief and supports their corporate mission by creating a workspace that is people-oriented and transformational. Instead of building a showroom full of lighting equipment, iDA presents this illuminated space sans any lamps or lanterns to subtly highlight OPPLE’s advanced lighting technology.

With regard to modeling the workplace, iDA used the interaction between light and space as a guide, following Opple’s central belief, that “Light creates value.” We removed unnecessary colors and structures to design a playground for light to accentuate OPPLE’s new working aesthetic.

Based on the concept of company’s value - "Being people-oriented, adhering to innovation", iDA designed its office environment and space planning to fuse a minimalist aesthetic with an organic combination of "dynamic" and "static" lighting and space, which serves to guide the productivity of employees in the workplace.
