“The best or nothing” is the brand gospel of Mercedes-Benz, as well as the inspiration of the design concept for its Taipei office.

The striking Logo Wall takes the classic three-pointed star and re-imagines it for the 21st century. The wall is iDA’s representation of Mercedes-Benz’s continued mission to innovate and pioneer the future of the automotive industry.

The design of the workspace focused on the idea of creating flexible working areas, so iDA demolished any existing features that interrupted the ability of employees and ideas to flow freely through the space. Designing the space this way also laid the foundation for the Mercedes-Benz to make increased use of ABW in their workspace.

Each working area contains an open collaboration zone. The designs of these collaboration zones were chosen by the employees based on the suggestions provided by designers. This collaboration between end-users and designers created a sense of ownership and participation in the transformation process.
