In a new part of Lagoa da Prata, Minas Gerais, the headquarters of Patrimonium occupies a corner and meets the horizon. Completed in 2024, the 1,883.72 m² building welcomes a team of approximately 200 people. Its vertical presence accompanies the city’s growth and gives a face to an urban centre beginning to take shape.
The design begins with a clear gesture: a prism planted in the ground and cut by an ascending line of light. At street level, transparency draws the reception, shared spaces and garden closer to the city. Above, a horizontal screen wraps the workplaces. Throughout the day, its slats cast shadows, filter sunlight and shift the perception of the volume.
A central void forms the heart of the building. Circulation routes, bridges and work areas remain open to one another across it. People meet, recognise each other and follow the movement on every floor. Work becomes visible as shared life — open, lively and collective.
Exposed concrete, glass and timber give measure and permanence to the spaces. From afar, the building is a precise figure in the landscape. Up close, it reveals light, movement and human presence. The architecture holds these two scales together: the city growing around it and the life unfolding within.
