Peapod, the country’s leading online grocer, has continued to expand into new zip codes and now it has relocated its own HQ. In a move from suburban Skokie to 300 S. Riverside Plaza, the new location was chosen to support their growth and allow the 29-year-old company to attract the best and brightest talent Chicago has to offer. Partners by Design was approached to design the new 53,000-square-foot space to take advantage of the building’s large floorplate, generous natural light, and views along the river. The heart of the new design is the café, centered on a mix of open workstations and collaboration areas. Additionally, their brand comes to life in whimsical fashion through food-themed installations interspersed throughout.
