Pedro Capri

Pedro is a restaurant located in the heart of Capri, just steps away from the iconic Piazzetta, nestled within a private courtyard of an old palazzo. The entrance leads into a space where the dialogue between local tradition and contemporary design finds a precise and harmonious balance.

At the center of the scene stands a softly curved bar counter, clad in semi-spherical
wooden slats, inviting guests to gather and becoming the focal point of the entire space. The backdrop is a high-gloss lacquered red paneling that, together with the vaulted ceiling painted with bold white and red stripes, evokes the island’s quintessential summer atmosphere. The clean lines and vibrant color palette seamlessly integrate with the essence of Capri, reinterpreting traditional motifs with a modern twist. Large openings towards the outside frame the Mediterranean greenery, enhancing the sense of continuity between indoors and outdoors, while the marine-toned resin flooring ties the various spaces together through a visual and chromatic pathway that guides the eye and creates a lively contrast.

The two main rooms, connected by openings that lead back to the bar, welcome guests into a relaxed yet refined atmosphere, where natural light plays with glossy surfaces, creating reflections that enhance the feeling of openness. The chosen colours, the natural wood, the deep red, and the blue of the windows, interact in a balanced harmony that defines the project, giving the interiors a distinctive personality.

Outside, the courtyard becomes a casual gathering place, where minimalist tables blend with the terracotta flooring and local plants. The restaurant’s neon sign stands out against the white walls, adding a playful and contemporary touch to the space, while never compromising the understated elegance that characterises the entire project.
