An Original House

Hasan Ayata Design Studio as Interior Architects

Penthouse XL Kayseri is a private housing project located in Hisarcik. Our project with A-framed architecture is designed with climate handicap in mind. The technical infrastructure of the project, located at the foot of Mount Argeus, is primarily resolved. Plan resolution in the interior design is achieved by targeting maximum gaps. To make the gallery height up to 11 meters compact and pleasant, the base tree plates are preferred, which are natural materials in the surface material. The two independent seating areas are organically resolved with the kitchen and bar table. The handious state of the ceiling solution was introduced due to the floor height dropping to 270 cm at a time in the same area. All mobile, fixed furniture and lighting fixtures are a special design product and are only used for this project. In wet volumes, the natural coating cross member is preferred.

In the master bedroom on the upper floor, the wardrobes, the bed area and the resting area are specially defined and positioned independently in the same area. Designed with the focus on the landscape, the built-in ottoman creates a resting area independent of the space. As an extension of the triangular structure, the height of the space creates a volume more than normal. In this large volume, a strong inclined artificial wall was achieved in the interior architecture. Its material and color were also separated from the space, further emphasizing its feature. This wall played an important role in clarifying the distinction in the spaces.

The triangular side wall emerging from the guest bedroom on the ground floor is used as a wardrobe and a make-up table, thereby reducing its handicap. The material selections are determined as natural black wood veneer while maintaining minimalism. The sleeping area has been determined by being completely separated. The metal design in the other parts of the building was used in this area as well to customize the bed section. This design also clearly depicted the circulation area of the space, which is the bathroom.

The main part of the building was designed without walls and it was aimed to provide integrity. This integrity is also provided by the materials. By using carrara marble on the stair step, kitchen table and bar surface, the connection between the spaces is established and its harmony with the black steel body is ensured. Ready-made sizes and models in mobile furniture are not suitable for our project, so they are specially designed and produced. has been brought to the fore.
