The path from Pertuis-du Sault to Neuchâtel begins in the city and climbs steeply towards the botanical garden and the centerDürrenmatt to finally get lost in the forest. The building is located at its intersection with Rue du Rocher where it aligns itself opposite the chapel of the Hermitage.
The plot, which benefits from the high density granted by the extreme limit of the residential area of Cassarde, sees the birth of an architecture that gently marries the shape of the triangle. It rises in the continuity of the vineyardwalls parallel to the 14 meters slope.
The extreme slope at this point imposes an entry into the building in its heart on the third level where the sober hall in apparent concrete organizes the access to the apartments without great efforts.
On three levels, three apartments occupy the entire floor while the upper floors are divided into two units. Stays and sleeping areas follow each other from East to West, bordering services and stairs to the north.
The rooms located facing the lake and in the Pertuis-du-Sault alignment are equipped with metal sliding shutters reflecting the environment that contrasts with the clear hue of the facade. The built-in terraces delimited with veils flush with the facade confirm the volume and its curved contours.
