The original building of a family house from the first half of the twentieth century is situated in the village Rovinka. The house is set on a street line and communicates directly with a busy artery.
The design of the reconstruction of the house uses the expressive and structural elements of the original building. The designed window panels were enlarged compared to the original by removed window sills. Used frameless windows make it easier to see the interior. The main entrance to the store is articulated by a black front door frame.
The design of the facade works with harmonious shades of one color in different materials. Coarse-grained silicate plaster together with folded sheet metal roofing and prefabricated concrete sills and window sills unifies the facade and leaves space for the architecture of the house. Visual simplicity helps the interior of the store to stand out.
The interior was cleaned of finishes to the structural elements of the house. The original brick masonry and wooden truss, together with the concrete floor, represent the basic material concept of the store space. The dominant element of the interior became a wooden wall with an even grid of openings for the presentation of goods. The modular carpentry product offers a great deal of customization. Concealed doors and storage space at the bottom of the wall help to simplify space.
