For the desk in the lobby and the refreshment counter in the conference room, Lebo Design chose to specify Crossville Porcelain Countertops in the stunning Black Tie color. The digitally produced surface design of these 100% porcelain slabs provide an appearance that beautifully mimics natural stone.
The Prince Law Group is a firm located within Las Vegas’ master planned community of Summerlin. The firm is renowned for its success in the areas of personal injury, insurance law, and complex commercial litigation and holds an exceptional track record of winning multi-million-dollar verdicts. The leadership of the firm is keenly aware that it’s essential to set the right tone for clients in all details, including the aesthetics of the company’s offices.
This is why Prince Law Group contracted with Lebo Design to completely re-design the lobby, conference rooms and public spaces within the office. Knowing that first impressions truly matter, the firm’s leadership requested a color scheme of black and gold with a modern, masculine, high-end design feel. Another priority for the project was to ensure that the stunning scenes of the Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area, viewable from the conference room windows, would be enhanced by the interior design in order to offer the law group’s clients a soothing yet sophisticated space to discuss their legal needs.
In such a renovation, the selection of materials for surfaces is very important. For the welcome desk in the lobby and as a refreshment counter in the conference room, Lebo Design sought an upscale, durable material that was readily available in order to accommodate the need for quick turnaround. All things considered, the team chose to specify Crossville Porcelain Countertops in the stunning Black Tie color. The digitally produced surface design of these 100% porcelain slabs provide an appearance that beautifully mimics natural stone, yet the look is consistent without unpredictable variance—a very helpful attribute that enabled the fabricator to install the slabs with a nearly seamless style.
Crossville Porcelain Countertops is an innovative countertop material and a great alternative to other commonly used surfaces. These 12 mm-thick slabs provide all the performance advantages expected of commercial-grade porcelain tile, including easy maintenance and no worries of staining. In the Prince Law Group’s office, the Crossville material was fabricated for a 2" thick appearance with a squared-eased edge to capture a contemporary style. For dramatic effect, the design team had the countertops installed with waterfalls to the floor on all sides on the lobby desk and on the edge sides in the conference room refreshment area. The result is a bold, strong, yet elegant appearance for both the welcome desk and refreshment counter that mixes beautifully with the space’s complimentary warm wood and gold accents.
“Since porcelain countertops are a newer material in the market, our design team was excited to try a new product and work through some of the installation challenges with the contractor,” explained Lindsey Lebo, partner/principal of Lebo Design. “We were extremely happy with the results and have specified this product for several other applications where porcelain is the only material option.”
With the completed renovation, Lebo Design created spaces that offer the best first impression to align with Prince Law Group’s commitment to achieving results that last.
