The project adapted an existing building to house a social center for psychological assistance and collective education, dedicated to the care and development of vulnerable children and their families.

We created an external "skin" in perforated metal sheets that surrounds the building, so as not to alter its structure. This layer not only provides essential privacy for the clinic's activities, but also plays a crucial role in thermal control, ensuring comfort for the activities carried out inside the building. We kept the existing window frames and intervened in a timely manner in the external areas of the building.

In plan, the new façade takes up the original shape of the plot. The resulting void at one of the corners between it and the existing building served as a space to house the new fire escape, necessary to adapt the building to current standards. Inside, the space was designed to meet the specific standards and needs of the clinic, with 14 consulting rooms, group and online therapy rooms, classrooms and common areas with the characteristics of squares, where toys were integrated into the waiting areas.
