Rain or shine

ArchObraz as Architects

The aim of our project was to make a dream of our client about a country-house come true. A house with a garden, terraces, barbeque zone, bath-house and summer cook-house. The challenge of the project was the property location in a megalopolis' downtown. A family owned a flat and not utilized space at the top floor of a high-rise building in Kiev, Ukraine.

The flat, technical areas, and the roof of the building underwent complex reconstruction to result in a high-tach penthouse with cozy courtyards and two-level terraces.

Panoramic cladding glass provides all benefits of the unique location with astonishing view on the city. The common room in rotunda is the very heart of the penthouse. Transparent roof and "rain-drop" luminaires create romantic climate of the room.
