Rauhes Haus

The new social psychiatry facility of the Rauhe Haus Foundation in Hamburg-Hummelsbüttel was carefully crafted to meet the distinct requirements of its residents. Its radiant brick exterior, comined with natural elements such as wood and greenery, along with a calming palette of subdued, warm earth tones in the interior, creates a shooting enviroment for individuals coping ith mental health challenges.

Broad views of the surrounding nature and expansive windows fill the spaces with abundant natural light, promoting a feeling of openness and liberation. A serene atrium garden offers a safe invite generous sunlight to illuminate the interior.

Spanning 3,000 square meters, the facility contains 34 living units - including 10 specially designed to accommodate unique needs. Beyond the residental quarters, the layout integrates dedicated therapy rooms, office spaces, technical areas, and support facilities.
