Designed for an art collector, Raw & Warm Residence brings art into everyday life rather than treating it as something to be displayed separately. The interior retains the building’s original character through exposed ceilings, visible services, seamless concrete-like flooring and warm wood surfaces, creating a restrained backdrop for the homeowner’s collection.
Existing partitions were opened up to form a flexible, open-plan living space, where furniture, materials and light define different zones instead of fixed walls. A subtle transition in flooring creates a gallery-like threshold between the shared and private areas, balancing openness with privacy. Throughout the home, artworks, furniture and lighting are treated as individual objects within a fluid composition, allowing the space to evolve naturally with daily life.
