Cabanon is organized around a single gesture: a curved, olive-green volume positioned at the center of the home—where a load-bearing wall once stood—that brings order to everything around it. The space flows around this central element without corridors or doors, yet it never feels diffuse: the walls soften into curves, the corners embrace, and a band of glass blocks crowns the volume, allowing light to pass from one side to the other. Located in Pereira, Colombia, the house is immersed in a green natural landscape toward the forest of the Central Andes Cordillera. The project stems from the intention of orienting and framing views toward the mountains, making them a permanent element of the experience of inhabiting the house. The Beppu Kannawa Jigoku Onsen Museum is an immersive "academic entertainment" facility in Beppu, Oita, Japan, opened in December 2022. Conceived by design practice Tanseisha and architect Yusuke Okada, the museum takes visitors on a 50-million-year journey beneath the earth—following rainwater as it seeps through rock, heats underground, and resurfaces as Beppu's famed thermal springs. Located within an olive grove in Valle de Guadalupe, Baja California, Mexico, Serentha Cabin is a 109 m² residence that explores the relationship between architecture, landscape, and material simplicity. The project is organized into two parallel volumes connected by a central courtyard, creating a clear spatial arrangement that balances privacy with openness. Casa Eco began to take shape in 2020, born from a couple's desire for a summer house dedicated to rest and gathering with family and friends. The project was conceived during the selection of the plot, chosen in partnership with the architecture firm, and was guided from the outset by the premise of being a welcoming home, open to gatherings and deeply connected to its surroundings.
