Remodelacion de Baños de Pre escolar Liceo Cambridge

Remodeling of the pre school girls and boys´s bathrooms of the Liceo Cambridge. Even though the client was always included on the materials choosing and design decisions, we had a window of liberty to design. This worked great since the client was happy and we manage to come up with a great eco - playful design. The counter-tops ´ shape tries to convey the idea that even though the counter top is about 5 mts long, the inclination and the two legs, make them look lighter. Another big idea of this renovation was to scaled the space to its users, in this case children. So everything was lowered down so they could not only reach easier but feel more comfortable in it. Now, we are told, they dont want to leave!!!. Toilets and urinals are of the ecological (from Sloan). For example the boys urinals dont need or use water ever, saving tons of gallons daily. Toilets use the least amount of water possible. Finally, the sinks are sensor activated allowing kids to be playful with water without wasting it.
