The Gouin residence is an early 19th century house that has undergone several expansions and changes of vocation over the years.

The renovation consists of unifying the spaces, amplifying its character and restoring the few original elements, including the mahogany floor and the woodwork that have survived the ages, for an active family.

The integrated furniture, in a single treatment, settles into each space and ensures a timeless continuity throughout the house. Its details and solid white oak elements flow from the Coquo collection in the bathrooms, then to the kitchen and living areas.

The once neglected skylight is now the most coveted room. It invites us to relax in a living room with a Moroccan feel. A real favorite of the clients, the tile, with its rhythmic textures and patterns; more intense in the passageways and more sober in the living spaces, creates an omnipresent framework that accentuates the unique character of the space.

This project consisted of several punctual and minimal interventions, but which were able to create a new signature that will ensure the durability of this period residence.
