It has been eight years since the Great East Japan Earthquake in Ishinomaki. This is a curry restaurant with owner’s will to advance to the next stage from “Recovery Stage”. It was her long-standing hope to have a shop where various people could gather in her home town.
In this project, I got thought that making architecture is making future. We can't live just by being dragged by the past. We must draw the future by ourselves. If this architecture supports the future of the owner, friends around her and the town, it is my desire as an architect.
