In close collaboration with Swedish Designer Jonas bohlin, we have developed and implemented a construction and interior design project for resturant AIRA on Djurgården. Together "kvalitena" and "Svenska Brasserier" are behind the project as the construction and operating company. Chef Tommy Myllimäki is in charge in the kitchen. 

Two clear volumes of corten and concrete divide the project, with the entrance in the middle. The corten house contains the "machinery", with kitchen and installations. The concrete house is the more public part with an open kitchen, dining room, bar and a private salon with it´s own terrace on the upper floor. A pier and a courtyard surround the business and provide a nice contact surface with the park and the sea.

The hard materials on the facades fights agains the exposed environment by the water contrasts with the softer materiality indoors. The interior is designed with high-quality choices of lighting, stone, wood, brass, leather, and large glass areas. All to create a dramaturgical total experience. The project won the guldstolen prize in march 2021.
