The project involves the renovation of an existing space located in the historic city of Mantua, and its conversion into a restaurant The project results by means of spatial organization, materials used and the furnishings of the issues related to domestic dimension of the "dining" The project consists of reflections on the theme of tradition, how to combine traditional cuisine with a contemporary design The difficulty lies in finding a balance to develop a space and decor consistent with the theme without falling into the picturesque, in a typical restaurant that belongs to the collective, and now much used, but at the same time belongs to another generation. The complexity of the project is thus to rethink quetioni notes, and reassemble with new figures can represent with a contemporary character The ceiling and the old gate of entry were kept with their imperfections produced by time. The wall that encloses the input wardrobe, is constructed in panels of plywood bleached with hydrogen peroxide The tables and benches are made of sawn oak, the table surface is coated plates, while the top of the benches is polyethylene The bar counter has a top made of stainless steel, painted steel and the casing, so was the bathroom sink
