Riva75 meant realizing the dream of an entrepreneur with over 20 year-long experience in the restaurant business, who wanted to open a new, still family-run business, but focused on fish food.
The location of the building on a city waterway and the possibility of dining outdoors, near the water, led to the development of a project focusing on soft, sinuous shapes, as to mirror the slow movement of the water, combining typical sea place-like colours together.
Our main challenge, however, was the architectural refurbishment of the space, from an ex supermarket to a restaurant which needed a kitchen, related facilities and restrooms, located on a water course. In fact, we also took care of all the local authorisation papers, to comply with the landscape and other relevant regulations.
