This newly remodeled single-family home testifies to a constant process of generational transformation for 40 years; which has been modified and reprogrammed in their ways of living, as a result of the changing needs that each inhabitant has demanded over time.
As we are the most recent agents in this process of change, we have intervened this house for a young family who yearned to re-inhabit it with the premise of rescuing, taking advantage of and exposing their possibilities of integration and connection with the exterior landscape, rich in extension, vegetation and mature trees.
The project by its nature demanded a challenge, since on the one hand the budget was limited and on the other, the configuration and arrangement of the pre-existing spaces unfortunately did not offer any direct relationship with the large green area at the end of the property, but rather on the contrary, the original visuals were directed towards gloomy lateral servitudes orined from north to south.
Assimilating this original limitation of the house, the main design strategy was oriented towards the capitalization of these adjoining steps, with the aim of dividing them and turning them into green auctions that are privately linked to each of the spaces programmed along them.

As a result of this operation, a porous succession of patios vestibulate the access to the house and at the same time merge the limits between the interior and exterior of each of the rooms that they protect.
In order to strengthen the aforementioned in section, the slabs that originally leaned towards the boundaries (consequently closing the visual spectrum of the inhabitant to the outside) were partially demolished with the aim of inverting the watershed and thereby opening the views towards the new patios. , generating large windows that successfully integrate both atmospheres.
Finally, in the back, adjoining the large garden, was a roofed and detached therapeutic pool that was reintegrated through the demolition of the walls that isolated it, resulting in a pool with an extensive sundeck that fortuitously anchors to the garden. and makes its extension a perfect location for the house itself.
