Brief Russell Reynolds Associates (RRA), a leading global job consulting firm, has been in India for some time and consults exclusively with top management for large Corporates. The objective was to create a 3,700 Sq.Ft. facility to reflect the iconic global reputation of RRA as a consulting firm and also respect the clients’ stature – top management personnel. The client wanted the design to complement the RRA brand and mark their presence in India. Concept ‘’COMPLETE VISIBILITY TO THE VISITOR ALONG WITH A SENSE OF SPACE AND VOLUME’’ The basic design language warranted an international look, in order to highlight the global presence of RRA. The concept was a plush open space sans any barriers that complements its visitors. An uninterrupted corridor with glass at the far end brings the outside green inside. The office is clearly demarcated into guest meeting areas and the office area, but is visually bound together, while allowing each to play individual roles. The meeting rooms are designed as private spaces, which needed to be discrete for their business. The design story was created through photo-art to complete the plush ambience. Keeping the intrigue in check and portraying the story of India, both past and present through photographs, which were integral to the design. Subtle materials and warmth created with marble and wooden flooring is complemented by exclusive furniture. While the global presence of the client comes through clearly in the contemporary look of the office, the Indian connect can be seen gracing the walls – the design thus manages to translate RRA’s international reputation into the local context.
