A large number of areas in The Netherlands are susceptible to flooding. The save house concepts are a series of design emergency shelters for use in such areas. Under normal conditions, these save houses serve as dog shed, tea house, bike shed, tree hut, guest house or street furniture. In case of flooding however, the save house serves as a personal 'Ark of Noah' and provides safety. Made of composite materials, the save house not only easily floats but also allows easy customisation with different colours, textures or even pictures.
