This architectural project renovates an old retail store into an open, experience-oriented space, an eyewear store. While keeping the old structure untouched, we rethought the scenario of circulation and reduced the product display to a few key objects. As objects, they also interact with and through the movement of people, punctuating and forming the rhythm of human motions in space.

The interior space is strategically cut off from the noise outside to enable concentration on and therefore make visible the senses of hearing, touching and seeing through the materiality inside. The existing glass roof is kept intact in order to preserve a connection with the view of the old tree, and also the sunlight.
