The project locates in the Partido de la Costa, province of Buenos Aires, in the Senderos IV area of Costa Esmeralda, a private neighborhood developed between Route 11 and the Argentine sea. The house is implanted on a plot of complex topography, without vegetation, with an upward slope towards the bottom and towards the north side, where a dense forest of young pines does develop.
Visualizing the forest and capturing the northern light define the "u" shape of the house's layout. They delimit a patio that illuminates the interior while integrating the landscape and extending the views. A courtyard that allows separating the social area, on one level, from the public on two.
In front, to the east, and above street level, there are two bedrooms with their bathrooms. In the back, the kitchen, living room, dining room, and gallery area develop as a continuous interior-exterior space that integrates the internal patio.
The access to the house and the gallery are integrated into the scheme as semi-covered and connected to the interior. The continuity of the concrete slab between access and internal circulation lengthens the visuals. Huge windows integrate the dining room and the gallery, allowing a continuous space in times of high temperatures.
The project builds with concrete and metal structure. In the central patio and gallery, metal profiles allow greater transparency. Brick walls and sheet metal roofs and ceilings are all noble materials and very low maintenance.
