The client's brief was to have a comfortable, modern office and to be a pleasant environment to stay and work. The person responsible for the renovation, architect Thaís Ruiz, decided to unite the three existing commercial rooms and create an integrated environment, choosing the joinery to create partitions and bring coziness to the place, which also has 100m² of external area, a place for employees to rest and decompress.
In two months of work everything took shape. With the exception of the chairs, all furniture was planned, thus creating solutions for all areas.
The style, according to Thaís, is sophisticated industrial, uniting carpentry and metalwork, which are mixed with the colors black, gray and red, which should have been included in the project and were worked in a harmonic and punctual way.
Special care was taken with regard to lighting, after all the clients made it very clear that they would like well-lit environments and the dark ceiling option could not impact the amount of light in the work plan.
Natural ventilation is also present and, as it contains an external area, solar screens control the entry of sunlight on warmer days.
The high point of the project, according to Thaís, is the dividing shelf designed to solve the storage of documents, in addition to being a decorative element and dividing departments.
The external area was used for moments of relaxation and informal meetings.
